Water week!

New York State Department of Conservation is pleased to announce that this week (5/2-5/6) is Water Week in New York State. This year, the Division of Water is celebrating Water Week by focusing on watershed management and how DOW uses a watershed approach to guide many of its programs and activities. There are a series of new webpages on the DEC public website that describe the five-step watershed management cycle that DOW uses.

Visit the Water Week webpage and the Watershed Management webpage. Please help spread the word about Water Week and these new webpages.

And lastly a reminder about DOW’s MakingWaves listserv. The MakingWaves listserv allows us to inform people about new and important water-related issues, events, and releases. You are encouraged to subscribe. Enjoy the rest of your day!
