Yankees vs Blue Jays: a preview

Tonight it is AJ Burnett (3-0, 4.67) pitching for the Yankees and Kyle Drabek (1-0, 1.93) starting for the Blue Jays. This season at the urging of catcher Russell Martin, AJ has added a changeup to his fastball and curve and it has proved effective.

Drabek, while falling behind in the count often, has an effective sinker that gets him out of trouble. Toronto has also been aggressive on the bases, stealing 21 bases in 16 games. They’ve also been caught 6 times, which means they need to watch out for Russell, who has a rifle for an arm and guns down runners at second.

It should be a good game, so be there! Or no maple candy for you!
